The aim of the following article is decribing the process of a therapeutic group in an institutional setting. Through the adaptation of the photolangage method, a clinical approach on a single subject among the members of the group could be closely regarded as a psychoanalytic act.
This issue is illustrated with the case study of A., a melancholic patient who, after some free associations emerged during a session, distanced herself from her own body: the experience focused on the urgency of pain’s unworthiness which affected her.
