Descrizione
è possibile, inoltre, affermare che l’intervento psicoeducativo di gruppo a orientamento cognitivo-comportamentale abbia comportato un maggior coinvolgimento attivo dei pazienti nei processi di cura e un coinvolgimento diverso degli operatori rispetto alla solita “routine” di reparto.[:en]Object: Aim of this study was to investigate the effectiveness of an psychoeducational group treatment with cognitive-behavioral orientation in a Psychiatric Service of Diagnosis and Care, used in “add-on” to the traditional treatment (pharmacological therapy + psychological support), across the evaluation onwards a champion of patients in acute phase and during the hospitalization. Method: The hospitalized patients, separated in two groups in relationship to the type of received treatment, have been valued through the following ratings scales: BPRS (Brief Psychiatric Rating Staircases; ver. 4.0); SOAS (Staff Observation Aggression Staircases); ROS-SC (opinion of the hospital units consumers questionnaire). The results of every of the two groups have also been compared in relationship both to the aggressiveness’ episodes frequency that to the frequency of the aggressive patients. Results and Conclusions: The emerged data acquired by the evaluations of N=171 patients confirmed a more favourable outcome was observed in patients group (N=108) with experimental treatment when compared with patients group (N=63) with traditional treatment. It’s possible, besides, to affirm that the psychoeducational group treatment with cognitive-behavioral orientation has implied a great active involvement of the patients in the processes of care and a different involvement of the operators in comparison to the usual “routine” of a hospital unit.[:]
