SE MI SENTO IN COLPA, ALLORA SONO COLPEVOLE”: IL RUOLO DELL’EMOZIONE DI COLPA SUL GIUDIZIO MORALE

[:it]Si esaminano, in adolescenti, gli effetti cognitivi dell’emozione di colpa, secondo il meccanismo noto come affect-as-information. Dai risultati ottenuti si evince che negli adolescenti la colpa viene effettivamente utilizzata quale informazione saliente per la formulazione di stime e giudizi. Esiste inoltre un’alta associazione tra colpa di tratto e ragionamento emozionale. Sembra che questo studio mostri l’importanza del ragionamento emozionale nell’attivazione di circoli viziosi in cui l’emozione viene utilizzata per valicare e rafforzare le credenze alla base dell’emozione stessa.[:en]We examined several teenagers about the cognitive effects of the emotion of guilt in regard to the mechanism known as affect-as-information. The achieved results show that guilt is actually used an a key source of information for the formulation of evaluations and judgements. We also noticed a high associability between trait of guilt and emotional reasoning. It seems that this study is showing the importance of emotional reasoning in the activation of negative feedbacks, with emotion being used to cross and reinforce the beliefs at the root of emotion itself.[:]
